6 Ways to Level Up Your Wellness

You know the numerous ways there are to being healthy. Here are my top six that you need to add in order to live your best life yet.


1. Get 7-8 hours of sleep and stay on a consistent sleep schedule


Sleep is just outright amazing. I truly love to rest and just take a break and sleep allows just that. To be completely mindless is the best way to repair your whole body (especially your skin which is my favorite part). If you go to the gym like me, sleep is super important to repair your sore joints. I’m not a happy camper without sleep, so to avoid going on a rampage I try to get my right amount of sleep.


2. Drink plenty of water


Get in the recommended 8+ glasses of water

I might have to put this quote on my gravestone because it couldn’t be any more true! I surround myself with like-minded people to keep me motivated and focused on my goals. I cherish precious moments with amazing people that provide me with honesty, clarity, constructive criticism, and growing mechanisms to help me become a better person.

I’m a firm believer of whatever you put into your body certainly comes back out. I nourish my body and take care of it by not only watching what I eat but incorporating healthy supplements and plant-based products into my diet. Let’s discuss some of my favorite Health Product recommendations.


5. Add a daily or monthly detox into your routine

6. Practice self care

Self-care may look different for everyone, so it’s best to find a routine that works for you. I like to turn off my phone and schedule time to relax. One way I do this is by catching up on some of my favorite shows such as: How To Get Away With Murder on ABC, Netflix’s On My Block, All American on CW, Tyler Perry’s Sistas on BET, and so much more!
