I'M SHANEL

My Story
From NYC Hustle to Florida Flow, I'm Shanel Griffith!

I grew up in the fast-paced streets of New York City, and now I’m soaking up the Florida sun while channeling that city born energy into bold, creative work. As a social media manager and creative strategist, I thrive on turning ideas into content that connects and inspires. I combine my love for storytelling, content creation, and unforgettable events to help brands shine online and in real life. Whether I’m curating a brand’s digital vibe or producing experiences that pop, I bring creativity, strategy, and a signature touch of New York flair to everything I do
Storytelling & representation are the passions that drive my production and creativity. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in Film and Television to learn the particular ways media is delivered through marketing and advertising. I also minored in African American Studies to expand my love for history & learning more about my heritage. I pursued these interests through my work experience by producing content for major networks such as BronxNet, ABC, Netflix, and MSNBC.
I bring my entertainment production roots into my work as a social media manager and creative strategist—where storytelling and strategy collide to create meaningful digital experiences.
Previously, I led social media at Doubleday Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, where I grew their Instagram followers from 124K to over 140K and boosted engagement by 35%.
While actively building my career in marketing, I’m also deeply committed to content creation and influencer marketing. I share my love of beauty, health, food, fashion, and lifestyle to a dedicated audience of 10.5K of Millennial & Gen Z women across social media. I have partnered with household names such as Aerie, BJ’s Wholesale, Chime, Bumble, Tampax, Target, and more. My mission is simple: to inspire others to live boldly, embrace their passions, and become the best version of themselves—one post at a time.

My philosophies include ethically and honestly producing media that entertain and inspire audiences.

* 30% increase in follower engagement on the company’s Twitter & Facebook by using video
